Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Lagos Deputy Governor and APC 2027 gubernatorial candidate

Barrister Luqman Akinsanya, founder of PEPC Foundation has congratulated the Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat on his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Thursday’s primary election.

He pledged to give Dr. Hamzat his full support in his quest to make Lagos greater.

The primary election was conducted across the 20 local governments with Dr Hamzat scoring 657,917 votes to defeat his rival, Olanrewaju Jim-Kamal, who secured one vote.

Barr. Akinsanya who was an aspirant for Ibeju -Lekki Federal Constituency gave the pledge in a statement this morning congratulating Dr. Hamzat.

“Congratulations to Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat on his emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election. He will proudly fly the flag of the APC and the progressives movement.

“He is capable, competent, and well suited for this responsibility, and we will support him wholeheartedly in his mission to make Lagos State even greater. His vision and passion for Lagos will surely become a reality.

“Today, I congratulate you wholeheartedly. I congratulate you on behalf of myself, my family, my team, and the good people of the Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency, as well as the entire people of Lagos State.”

Akinsanya, said that with the APC candidate, Lagos State will be in another safe hand that will give purposeful leadership.

“Congratulations to all of us, because we have truly made the right choice. Our leadership has consistently ensured that Lagos State is governed by individuals who understand the system and are committed to progress. This tradition of purposeful leadership has continued to move the state forward and make life better for the people.

“I sincerely thank our leaders for giving us this opportunity and for once again making a decision that reflects the hopes and aspirations of Lagosians.”
